Parents INC is an ADHD specific training programme for parents and carers.

The programme has been evaluated in Falkirk, Scotland and is now being piloted in other parts of Scotland.  The outcomes for those who attend are nearly always very positive.  It runs for five consecutive weeks, each session last two hours.

The content of the programme are as follows:

Week 1: An overview of ADHD across the lifespan

Week 2: Positively parenting ADHD children and young people

Week 3: How to help your ADHD child with their development

Week 4: Effectively managing chalanging behaviour

Week 5: Managing high risk situations/planning ahead
