Assessment of Children & Adolescents
Those families who suspect that their child has ADHD can rest assured that they can access a thoroughly professional and comprehensive assessment. When we agree to undertake an assessment, we will ask for the family's consent to liaise with their child's school. Once we receive consent we will send out our assessment pack to the school.

This includes the following:

• ADHD Direct School Assessment Proforma

• Strengths & Difficulties Questionnaire

• Conners Teachers Rating Scale

We ask that the child's current class teacher completes and returns the above pack as quickly as possible as once we recieve this information we are in a position then to meet with the family. For older children, we also ask the school to provide Primary 1-3 School Reports in order for us to see if ADHD symptoms have been present from when they first started school.

We also send out a similar assessment pack to the parents and once both completed packs are returned we then arrange an  appointment for the family
